Original Art Oil on Canvas & Gouache

Hello Collectors,

Added on by Ted Easler.

I believe art should tell a story. Even in abstract art. My paintings are mostly abstract that is true. In art, however, there are buildings, people, cars and many other items that make our lives better and interesting.

By the use of these and of bright and beautiful colors, you can see a new panting everyday, everytime you look at it.

Sincerely,

Ted

I’d like to thank my family, friends and collectors for the support, cards and letters I have received.

I will be working on wall groupings of 4 or more paintings in acrylic and gauche.

Great to be back to work.

My new art work is almost ready to post on my website. The subject I picked is similar to my Classic Modernism series.

They are bright and beautiful, just what we need in our lives, at this time. The paintings are gouache on paper. the size is 11” X 14’ framed in black or white and ready to hang.

I recommend getting 2 or 4 to make a wall cluster.

My new paintings, Classic Modernism, are doing quite well and my latest

series is now available. The name that I have chosen for this series is, Under and

Over exposure. The paintings are based on an experiment using instant film.

In this series 15 of the paintings are done on water color paper using alcohol

markers. Four are done using acrylic on canvas. They range in a variety of sizes.

The colors are bright and beautiful, to lift our spirits and imagination.

My new paintings are now available. In this series of paintings I focus on the modern cities and towns. Thus the title Classic Modernism.

Each painting depicts a place we have lived in and the things that brings us happiness. Each painting is a discovery in itself, a microscopic part of our lives, through the years.

In Classic Modernism, I bring to my collectors the highest quality for your enjoyment. The paintings are bright and beautiful meant to uplift our spirits and happiness.

Hello Collectors,

This is the perfect time to look at and and enjoy our valuable and beautiful art collections with our loved ones, family and friends.

At present I am working on posting my latest artwork to my website. I have picked a name for it. It is entitled “Classic Modernism”.

I chose this name because the paintings, oil on canvas, are bright and beautiful and can pick up our spirits and brighten our day.

Look for them to be posted, on my website, in the coming months.

almost finished. The 10” and 20” are complete.

I have three more painting on the 12” canvas, which would make a total of 20 new works.

I am very excited by their beautiful colors and thoughtful composition and I am sure you will

enjoy them as much as I did painting them.

I haven’t posted anything on my blog since the Coronavirus shut most things down. However, I have been busy, in my studio, creating new works of art.

The new series is called “The City Modern”. They depict the colorful and thought provoking scenes we have all seen or traveled through.

The sizes are 20 X 20 and 10 X 10. They are oil on canvas and gallery wrapped. These paintings will bring joy and brighten our spirits during these difficult times.

Please stay safe and happy collecting.

I’m hanging in there with you and many others during this, the worst crisis in our lifetime. The Corona virus has forced us , my family and probably yours, to go into quarantine. For us it has been 3 or 4 weeks.

Personally I have been busy. I have completed 3 new oil paintings in the Constructivism style. Two are 10” square and three, when they are completed, will be 20” square.

I hope to get our to more galleries when this crisis is over.

In the meantime stay well.

Your artist and friend,

As I mentioned in my last blog, I have been dealing with health problems, which are in the healing stages. I would like to say this. No matter what your particular problem is, with faith, courage and a loving mate, you can get through it. Don”t give up.

Many great artists went through health problems. One that comes to mind is Henri Matisse. He produced some of his greatest works late in life.

I would like to say this about my work, having lived in New York for a number of years, my work took on a New York style. So if you have any question about what my paintings mean, please let me know by email and I will be happy to explain.

I was just reminded this is the 100th anniversary of De Stijl and Constructivism. I have personally added new ideas to these two art forms by the use of color and design moving them into the 21st century where they belong.

I hope you enjoy my paintings and will purchase them for their beauty and collecting value.

"The Big Chill" is 4 1/2 feet by 5 1/2 feet.   "Telephoto is 4 1/2 feet by 5 feet.

It has been a while since my last blog.  The Flu bug did not miss us.

I am now energized and have a  new show at Gallery 206 Main Street  Mooresville, N. C.

The new show is entitled DeStijl II. Although the art movement is 100 years old, my work is

current with what is happening in the world right now.

Two of the artist from that period are Piet Mondrian and Theo Vandoosberg.
